Quantity Takeoff
Quantity Takeoff (QTO) is the process of extracting precise material and element quantities from 2D drawings or 3D BIM models. It’s a critical step in estimating project costs, managing procurement, planning construction phases, and reducing waste.
With our Quantity Takeoff service, you gain access to accurate, organized, and traceable quantity data—ensuring better control over your budget, timeline, and material logistics.
>>> What do we offer with our Quantity Takeoff service? <<<
1. Quantity Extraction from BIM or 2D Drawings: We extract quantities directly from 3D BIM models (Revit, Archicad, IFC) or from 2D CAD drawings (AutoCAD, PDFs), depending on your project setup. All elements are categorized and measured according to your specific standards or coding system.
2. Organized, Filtered, and Structured BOQs: We deliver detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) organized by category, phase, location, or system (Architecture, Structure, MEP, etc.). Data is clean, structured, and ready for use in cost estimation or procurement.
3. Model-Based Quantity Verification: We help verify whether the quantities represented in the model are consistent with the design intent and ready for cost estimation. If needed, we can also support clash resolution or model clean-up to improve accuracy.
4. Updates and Change Management: Need to update quantities after a model change? We support version comparison and quantity updates, allowing you to track the impact of design changes in real-time.
