3D clash Detection
Clash Detection is a vital process within the BIM workflow that helps identify, manage, and resolve conflicts between different building systems before construction begins. By detecting clashes early in the design phase, you avoid costly on-site errors, schedule delays, and budget overruns.
With our Clash Detection service, we ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP models—providing the clarity and coordination needed to build with confidence.
>>> What do we offer with our Clash Detection service? <<<
1. Interdisciplinary Model Coordination: We coordinate models from all disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP, Fire Protection, etc.) into a single federated model. This allows us to identify interferences and misalignments that would otherwise result in field conflicts.
2. Clash Detection Reports and Issue Tracking: Using industry-standard tools, we run automated clash detection processes and generate clear, actionable reports. Each issue is categorized (hard clash, soft clash, clearance) and assigned to the responsible party for resolution.
3. Issue Management and Follow-up: We don’t just detect clashes—we help resolve them. We manage clash review sessions, assign issues to design teams, and track their status through platforms like BIM 360 or ACC. Our goal is to reduce the clash count to zero before construction starts
4. Standardized Documentation and Model Clean-Up: Our reports follow standardized formats (including screenshots, element IDs, categories, locations, and comments) for easy follow-up and internal coordination. We also assist in cleaning up and optimizing models after clash resolution.
